Jaw-droppingly gorgeous
After much soft-selling to my husband (pleading, eyelash batting) whom I might add hasn't bought me any real jewelry since my engagement ring 8 years ago, I ended up with diamond hoop earrings in white gold, checkerboard drops in green amethyst and white gold, and a plain enhancer in sterling silver. I received the items along with an appraisal certificate (very handy for insurance purposes). And they are gorgeous. Jaw dropping and much much larger than I had anticipated.
